Getting ready for a ski trip is fun. You choose the location, check out new outfits and ski gear, watch the forecast and live every day in anticipation of that time when you’ll be on your way to the slopes. While the runs are ready, are you? A lot of people assume that being in shape is all they need to be physically prepared for skiing. Once they get to the slopes and ski for a couple of hours, they start to feel their heart racing, lower back aching, quads screaming and realize that even walking for the next few days will be somewhat challenging.
