Every time I travel to a new ski resort, I get excited to check out it’s après ski places! Whistler was not the exception. What can be better than, after spending all day up in the mountains, to walk into a warm cozy place filled with people, order delicious food and drinks, share your stories, listen to a live band or a DJ and finally relax?
I didn’t want to just give you a boring standard description of all the places, so I decided that I would go and experience each locale, select my favorite ones and then share with you my knowledge (I know, tough job). From chilling to living it up, here is my list of the top five places you must visit for a great après ski time in Whistler.
Going skiing is one of my favorite trips of the year. Once we go through the season of colorful leaves, pumpkin spice lattes and Halloween decorations, I become really impatient knowing that soon I will be hitting the slopes. I start to prepare for the trip a few days in advance to make sure I got all my clothes, shoes, accessories and ski equipment (packing in the summer is so much easier!).
I am sitting by the fireplace in the beautiful suite at Four Seasons Resort in Whistler, Canada. Behind me was another exciting day of skiing and ahead- a new adventure full of snow, fun and surprises. It is time to go to bed, but I am like a little kid who is so excited about a new day that it keeps me awake.
